Info about Philip Tretola, OwnerPhilip Tretola's restaurant journey started close to 40 years ago in Florida. While playing baseball in the Gulf Coast League, he worked part time in several local restaurants to make extra money while playing baseball. After a short lived baseball career, Philip started working full time in the restaurant business. The next 30 years he worked in every aspect of the business from bartender, chef, general manager and eventually owner. In 2018 after 30 plus years he started mystic meat and seafood market in Long Beach island New Jersey. In a very short time it became an instant success for being known for the freshest seafoods and the best cuts of meat, while serving their famous over stuffed subs and breakfast sandwiches. In 2019, Philip and his wife Renee created mystic lobster roll company. Within a few months the response was amazing and they decided to create a franchise model of mystic lobster roll company. In a few short years the company grew to 38 locations in 6 states and receiving numerous awards for their lobster rolls and lobster bisque. In 2023, mystic lobster roll company received one of the most prestigious awards given to a franchise, becoming one of the top 12 seafood restaurant chains in the United States, being compared with some of the industry giants such as red lobster and bubba gump shrimp co. After settling in beautiful Brevard county Florida in 2025 and opening up several mystic lobster roll locations, we came across one of the most beautiful properties we have ever seen which is now our latitudes location in cocoa Florida. This location is beyond special to us and we look forward to serving this amazing community for years to come.
